Architecture
with Hands
The time has come to take architecture seriously, to leave the jokes behind us, and to overcome the playful lightness of the Bauhaus era. Architecture as art has nothing to do with function. Functionalist architecture is applied art. Everyone should make their own architecture, using their own hands, in order to form, stick, dig, scratch, stir, crop, bit, of feathers, trees, grass, paper, earth and straw.
